Hoonah is an incorporated city in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. The city handles local rules inside its limits, and there is no borough government above it: the city is in Alaska's Unorganized Borough. The city levies no property tax and there is no borough tax, so there is no property tax bill. Deeds are recorded at a state recording district office.
