About Lee County
Lee County covers 629 square miles of eastern Texas, with the county seat at Giddings. The county appraisal district, which is a separate office from the county itself, values your house and land. The County Tax Assessor-Collector bills and collects the tax, often for the schools and the city too, and the County Clerk keeps recorded land documents.
